There is an exciting opportunity to join the Sales and Marketing Team, as a Jr. Marketing Coordinator in Vancouver. Working closely with senior marketing and property management staff, this individual will be directly supporting the execution of several of Onni’s residential and hospitality developments.  The ideal candidate has an interest in a career in marketing, and is extremely organized. He or she displays an aptitude for planning, and is a dependable team player.



The Role


The Jr. Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the full coordination and execution of several projects throughout our North American location reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager. The Jr. Marketing Coordinator is also involved in developing ongoing marketing strategy and creative to reach targeted sales and marketing goals. Duties include:



  • Support of strategic planning and execution of residential marketing activities
  • Support the marketing initiatives of Onni’s hospitality brand, LEVEL Furnished Living, including (but not limited to):
  • Handling influencer requests (within a provided framework)
  • Designing small marketing pieces, meeting & event signage, email blasts
  • Designing professional-looking sales pitches & revenue packages
  • Support the creative development of new projects, including (but not limited to):
  • Branding of new projects
  • Brochure design
  • Direct mail design and planning
  • Advertising
  • Media planning, buying and administration
  • Leasing Center design
  • Website – placement and layout of website pages
  • Application/Framework design as needed
  • Routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications
  • Copywriting
  • Coordination of digital renderings, floorplans and other assets
  • Meeting vendors and suppliers at site meetings, approving proofs, collecting samples and competitive estimating on all jobs
  • Communications with customers through CRM including mail and email campaigns
  • Assisting at all project launches
  • Prioritize & manage multiple projects simultaneously through to completion
  • Assist with reviewing documents & reports and follow up with outside parties as required
  • Prepare meeting agendas and prepare minutes from meetings as needed
  • Any additional tasks as assigned


Summary of Qualifications & Requirements

You are:

  • Exceptionally good at prioritizing, time managing, and multi-tasking
  • Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Able to excel under pressure, and can handle sudden changes in plans
  • Positive and upbeat in your general demeanor
  • An excellent communicator, with both internal stakeholders and external parties across many platforms (in person, via email, via telephone)
  • Resourceful in problem-solving situations
  • Decidedly trustworthy and accountable


You have:

  • 1-2 years of professional marketing experience
  • A post-secondary school diploma/degree (Marketing or Business concentrations an asset)
  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • An ability to provide inside and strategic recommendations to achieve project objectives
  • Strong computer skills: a high proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is essential, and a basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is an asset
  • An understanding of digital initiatives, including web application development processes, the benefits of SEO, and Google products including Analytics, AdWords, and Webmaster Tools is an asset
  • Experience with CRM software, in particular Yardi, is an asset
  • A valid driver’s license and a vehicle, to facilitate visits to and from Onni’s different sites in Los Angeles
