Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing support to the Accounting department.  This includes inputting of invoices and monthly financial reports, as well as general administrative support. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Administrative support to the Accounting team
  • Perform and prepare clerical accounting functions
  • Prepare and review bank deposits and wires
  • Prepare and review journal entries
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Reconcile bank activity on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with spreadsheets and financial reports - must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Yardi is preferred
