Housekeeping

JOB FUNCTION:

To maintain all suites, public areas & back of the house in a clean and orderly condition according to LEVEL’s standards, ensuring that a high level of cleanliness is maintained.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to work in a team setting and independently
  • Correct and safe use of all cleaning equipment, products, and materials.
  • Being helpful, cordial and courteous to guests and co-workers at all times.
  • Ensuring all rooms are cared for according to LEVEL standards.
  • Following up on special cleaning assignments given by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
  • Responding, prioritizing and acting on all calls.
  • Notifying direct supervisor of any damages or malfunctioning equipment.
  • Immediately reporting any safety hazards, maintenance defects, or other problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Performing janitorial duties, e.g. office cleaning, carpet shampooing and window cleaning.
  • Moving of furniture, delivery and pick up of cribs, rollways, guest requested items etc
  • Promptly reporting and handing in Lost and Found items to the Housekeeping Manager, Or Operations Manager
  • Being security conscious on guest floors and in the back of the house areas.
  • Organized and detailed correspondence to all departments.
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene, grooming and attire.
  • Abiding by the LEVEL’s Vision Statement and Mission Statement and core values.
  • Respecting environmental guidelines
  • Maintain and separate Linen into appropriate Bins for transportation to Launder company
  • Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned.
